Tyke Select Starts Nov. 1st
St. Thomas Minor Hockey 2009 – 2010 Tyke Select Program

If you are interested in being considered for the 2009-10 St. Thomas Minor Hockey Tyke Select team you are invited to attend the following practice:
Sunday November 1st Timken Centre – Walker Rink                           
       9:00 AM  For Players on the Red Wings, Rangers, Flames, Canucks. 
                        
       10:00 AM For Players on the Bruins,Leafs, Canadian's, Black Hawks & Tyke  players
participating in Novice house league.

 

Program Details:

This season we are hoping to have 2 Tyke Select teams with 17 players each. The teams will participate in exhibition games with other centres (Dorchester, Thamesford etc) and two tournaments.

 


Fees:

The fees for the Tyke Select teams will be $100.00 per player.  These Travel Fees cover costs of additional ice time, socks, and referee’s. There will also be additional tournament registration fees.

 


Eligible Players:

Participation in the Tyke Select program is open to any Tyke Aged (2002-2003) players registered with St. Thomas Minor Hockey. Players must also live with the boundaries of St. Thomas Minor Hockey, if you are unsure if you meet STMHA residential guidelines, details can be found on our web site under Registration or by contacting the office 519-631-3607 or [email protected]

 


Practice/Game Times:

The Tyke Select program will have regular ice on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:00 am. Exhibition games will be scheduled at a later date.

St. Thomas February 28

 


Coaching:

If you are interested in Coaching, a coaching application can be found on the STMHA website. Coaches’ interview will take place the first week of November.
