Great Day for the Tyke Select Green Team
The Tyke Select Green Team had an exciting Saturday this past week-end. We played two exhibition games and took in an OHL game all in the same day.
We started the day with a 2 o'clock game in Dorchester.  The Dragons came out hard and scored 39 seconds into the game, but just 40 seconds later, Keavan Milmine tied it up.  The game settled down after that and we took lead before the first period ended with a goal from Brennen Smith.  Dorchester would score two goals in the second.  We couldn't muster any offense in the third to make a come back and fell 3-2.  Maclane Stringle played a solid game between the pipes.

Good thing for the nice weather as we headed down the 402 to Sarnia to play Chatham before the OHL game. Chatham took an early 2 goal lead until Ethan Miron cut the lead in half before the 1st period ended.  In the second period Chatham went ahead to lead 5-1 before we started a come back.  Coleton Robison-Sareh, Brennen Smith and Ethan Miron would make it 5-4 by the time the second period was over.  In the third period both teams goalies made key saves to keep it close.  With a minute to go it was still 5-4 Chatham until Keavan Milmine tied it up with 1 second left on the clock.  Maclane Stringle had another solid effort in net.
After the game the team headed to their seats to watch the Sarnia Sting play their rival the Windsor Spitfires. The boys ate pizza and had a great time watching these two teams battle.  With lots of hits and scoring it made for a great game.  The Windsor Spitfires would eventually win the game, with less than 30 seconds to play.
When it was over we headed back to our dressing room for some autographs and as we were leaving Maclane Stringle was handed a goalie stick signed by the Sarnia Sting.
All in all it was a great day for the Tyke Select Green Team.
