After the first 14 round robin games complete, the Atom Stars finish 5th

Mission Accomplished. The Atom Stars have succeeded in their goal to finish in the top half of the Alliance. The team won some big games along the way including beating the London JR. Knights 2-1 in London Nov. 6th. Overall, the team has 108 goals for and 52 against, has killed penalties 85% of the time and has a 28% power play percentage. Goaltending has been excellent all season. This has been accomplished by rolling the lines all season through regular shifts, power plays and penalty kills. The boys continue to have fun and work hard in practice which shows in games consistent with the back of their practice jerseys that reads,"the more you sweat in practice, the less you bleed in games". The coaching staff is extremely proud of how the team has come together so far and implemented our game strategies. It should be an exciting second half. As the team continues with a positive attitude and respect for one another, the remainder of the season should be as successful and fun as the first half. Keep up the hard work because it's not how big you are, but how big you play!
