We have decided to combine the individual team practices that were scheduled for tomorrow.
So that we can allow the kids to partake in another skate to get their legs and get back into the swing of hockey. It also allows our coaches to get another good look at everyone so that we can create evenly skilled teams.
It also allows us to place players on the same team who have requested so. With the addition this year of more rep teams and with the timing of when Local League and Rep tryouts were being held, we believe allowing another evaluation skate would be the best way.
In saying that, the ice times were already booked, and schedules created around them. We could not shorten the ice times nor give ice back to the city. Combining was the only way to move forward.
We truly understand that this is a long time for kids to be on the ice. If you can only do the hour, or an hour and a half, that's OK. But please be there to go on the ice at 9:45am.
