Dear parents and players,
I have been informed by the league that they have decided that it is in the best interest of the Division to reduce down to 3 teams. This should place 10-11 players per team, and allow for 5 on 5 hockey.
The Association is working on Creating the new Schedule and will post it as soon as it is Available.
Please Note there will NOT be a game this coming Thursday, Due to Halloween. The Game/Practice format will begin for this coming Saturday.
The team to be folded is “Kinsmen”. I want to take this opportunity to thank their coach John Hollohan and his assistant Tim Baker for all their support. Good luck in all your future hockey endeavours.
I have heard concerns about possible reduction of games. This is not the case. The remaining teams will actually have more games as every team will play at least one game every week and two times every other week. If any of you still have questions, concerns or complains, please feel free to contact the league’s VP Lisa Matchim or the president of STMHA Joe Bilyea.
