Elgin Chrysler Major Midgets Win Season Opener

The Elgin Chrysler Major Midgets beat North London in their season opener during the Junior Stars Day at the Timken Centre on Saturday September 26th.

St. Thomas took the lead early in the 2nd period when Adam Fisher scored a short-handed goal assisted by Tyler Coursolle. St. Thomas widened their lead with a power play goal scored by Tanner Turley and assisted by Cody Taggart with 6 minutes remaining in the 2nd. North London came out strong after the flood and scored a quick one 2 minutes into the 3rd… but St. Thomas wasn’t finished with them… Tyler Beaulieu scored the final goal of the game 3 minutes later, assisted by Adam Galloway and Brett Beattie. The Major Midgets head to Sarnia for their 1st road game of the season next Saturday, October 3rd. Go Stars Go!!
