Midget AE Stars out on OMHA playdowns
The Maxwell's Cameras/Ansell's Awards midget AE team saw their hopes for an OMHA title disappear Saturday with a 6-3 loss in Belle River. Coach Walt Molinaro was happy with everyone's effort in the game. The Stars fell behind 1-0 in the first minute of the game but rebounded with the next three goals scored by Cody Gooding, Adam Kohler and Brad Holder. Belle River pulled within one before the end of the first period and added two more in the second to take a 4-3 lead into the third period. The Stars will now return to Shamrock playoff action. No game is yet scheduled at this time.
