Oct. 25, 2009 vs. West Lorne Comets
The Novice boys again put together a great team effort for their second win in as many games. With more excellent work by all, offensively and defensively, the boys defeated West Lorne 9 - 1.
Building on our last game, the boys continue to come together as a team.There were many excellent passes throughtout the game which lead to several goals including a hat trick by Russell O. Consistant backchecking by Harrison B. and the steady defensive play of Ian W. and Chase C. limited our opponents to a single goal, coming in the final seconds of the third period to spoil the shutout. Taylor H. and Zach M. combined for many key saves and an even better preformance then last weekend. Brad V.had another great game playing both defense and forward.
The Game MVP puck was awarded to Luke A. who had his best game of the season on defense while also scoring two goals.
