Atom AE ('01-'02) - Mooretown
Submitted By Jason Johnston on Thursday, January 26, 2012
Our Stars finished off the regular season Tuesday night in Mooretown with a hard fought, 1-0 loss to the storm. It was a fairly even game, but an unlucky goal off of a skate proved to be the difference in this one.

This was a tough game for us, having to be in Mooretown for 6:45 on a school night. It was a very long drive, so I was not sure what to expect from the boys. We didn't play too badly, but we did seem to be a little off. We did hit a post, and forced the goalie to make several good saves, but nothing would go in for us on this night. Markus Thompson had a strong game in net again, but we could not find him any offensive support. All in all, we had a decent season with a lot of improvement, and a lot of fun. Our Stars start the OMHA playdowns this weekend against Erie Northshore and Southpoint, and hopefully we can string some wins together and come out of this initial group.
