09-10 Minor Atom A - Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars win in OT.

Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars began there playoffs against London Bandits at the Timken Centre over the weekend.  Derek Johnston started the scoring for St.Thomas and assisted by Myles Carlson in the first period but this was answered back by Eoin Smullen of the Bandits.

Derek scored again in the beginning of the second on a powerplay goal assisted by Sam Hardy and London Bandits came back and tied it up 2-2.  Third period action Brayden Latimer scored on a beautiful tape to tape pass from Denys Reid.  Latimer gets another goal unassisted leading the Stars 4-2.  The Bandits came back scoring twice in the third period tieing 4-4.  Overtime action took place with 1:48 left of OT Derek Johnston scored to give the Stars their first win in Alliance Playoffs. 

Next game Friday March 5th @ 6:15 at the Timken Centre.
